Tierra De Maria Church
Manaoag is formally known as Nuestra Señora del Santissimo Rosario de Manaoag or in english Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag. She is known as the patroness of the sick, many who are sick was to believe they have been cured by the lady. This church is originally located in Pangasinan but, they have a replica in Tagaytay called Tierra de Maria Chapel, and is the most visited churches here in the Philippines. This was brought here to the Philippines in the 16th century by our very own Padre Juan De San Jacinto with the original image of The Lady. A tradition that went on for years, started at the year 2004 where people travel to Tagaytay to have a healing mass that goes on every Saturday where it is celebrated by the spiritual Director of the Mama Mary. On the second floor of the church, you would see a fish spa on the left, where you can dip your feet in and just have the fishes brush against them, with a closer view of Mama Mary’s visage for only P100.
