Welcome to Tagaytay! The Second SUMMER CAPITAL in the Philippines

MmmmmMushroom Burger:

Picture
Mushroom cooked into a burger? Quite unique, isn't it? It's like another ordinary beef burger that you'd order from any other burger stores. You can't taste any changes but surely you'll love it's tender patties.

I got so curious about the mushroom burger so I asked about it's history.  I'd discovered that they had a mushroom farm in Caloocan City in 1976. But after 2 years, they moved to Tagaytay for expansion. They sell 4 kinds of mushrooms namely Shiitake Mushrooms, Abalone Mushroom, the Oyster Mushroom, and the Wooden Ear. They had one customer told them that mushrooms are cheaper than beef and he asked "Why not make burgers out of mushrooms?". So they had the idea to make mushroom burgers. Fortunately, a Swiss Executive Chef from one of major hotels in Manila tried their burger and he told them that it's the best burger he had ever tasted. From then on, they branched out their outlets and became successful.

The burgers are very cheap and nutritious. You can see a little preservation box where they keep their fresh mushrooms and they really use 100% mushrooms. They added other menus like Mushroom Beef, Spaghetti, 100% Braised Beef and the likes. You can order them in budgeted price from Php 60-90. It's really affordable. They have this little playground where kids can play while waiting for their scrumptious meal. Try their Mushroom Burger with Cheese! It's their specialty. Enjoy!
